Kreusler Park and Phipps beach parks are worth checking out, and if you are into golf there are several outstanding options here. Spend your days on the beach, boat fishing, exploring the nearby Everglades or the popular Henry Morrison Flager Museum. If you want to get out further to explore, Miami is within easy distance too – ideal for a night out in one of America’s best nightspots.

If you want to enjoy Florida without the kids, head to Key West. The Little Palm Island Resort and Spa is a private, adults-only island that you can only access via sea or plane and whilst on the island you can even charter a catamaran for a private cruise. Around the island you’ll be able to explore the world’s third-largest barrier reef, which you can also see from above, so you could choose to view it all by seaplane instead if you so wish. Little wonder perhaps then that this resort was named the Best New Hotel by Condé Nast magazine in 2021. It’s the place to go for luxury Florida holidays, that’s for sure.
